General Overview

The Sector 7 Private Military Company are a large mercenary faction based out of the Sector 7 system, in their own space station dubbed the "Executioner".
As a well-known and large military contractor, they have seen heavy use throughout many conflicts world-wide. As such they are often acredited with taking part in most, if not all, large conflicts any galaxy has ever seen. Throughout these many battles they have made a reputation for ruthless efficiency and deadliness, often risking everything to complete any mission assigned to them.
This reputation for efficiency, coupled with the fact that the faction as a whole lack morals and will take any job offered as long as the money is 'good, has made them one of the most well-known, and maybe even respected, private contractors in existance.

The main exports of the Sector 7 mercenaries are slaves, looted goods, as well as their famed mercenary services. In turn, they import mostly weapons and food.
Their main technological pursuit is to further develop their trademark weapons and increase their capacity for communication. This focus is mainly due to the mobile and 'invisible' nature of their military tactics, which focuses more on co-operation and communication than brute force.
Their main income and what keeps their economy rolling is the mercenary work offered around the galaxies, as well as the export of slaves, goods both manufactured and looted, and the weapons they produce.


The political structure of the Sector 7s is very militaristic in nature, with every member being assigned a rank and specific role. The current leader is Commander John Covell.
The Commander is very well respected amongst the ranks and is known for being an amazingly accomplished tactician and soldier. This, coupled with the ex-military origin and disciplined nature of most men enlisted with the Sector 7 mercenaries, gives the Commander a large following of loyal soldiers, which in turn gives great stability and faith in the command structure.

The Sector 7 mercenaries have only one main base. The space station "Executioner", located in the Sector 7 sector. The station is often codenamed "headquarters executioner" or just "H.Q.X.". The space station itself is a very large metal city, capable of supporting roughly 750,000 people.
The city is a sprawling metropolis of stores, apartment complexes and restaurants, with the inhabitants living in large apartment complexes. Of course, members of the Sector 7 Military and their families are given first right to the best apartments around, and are even offered discounts in some stores and businesses.
Exeuctioner is guarded by its own private police force, made up of volunteer Sector 7 mercenaries.
All schooling of children of the mercenaries and training of new recruits takes place on the space station, in specially designed facilities.

The space station is home to quite a number of seedy underground gangs, but the rate of reported crime is surprisingly enough extremely low.

The military strength of the Sector 7 mercenaries is the strongest weapon they have. The military forces are completely consistant of human war veterans who are deployed in high-mobile lightning strikes against strategical targets.
This is not the sole use however. The mercenaries have great knowledge of defense and holding key points, as often is demanded by contracts assigned them.
All in all the ground forces of the Sector 7 PMC consists of roughly 532,000 men and women.



Fleet and Marines

The Sector 7 fleet is made up of roughly 85,000 men and women. This ranges between everything from marines guarding the capital ships to navigators, radiomen and pilots. The fleet itself is often considered rather harmless.
There are few weapons on the large capital ships, and as such they have to depend on their small jet aircraft to support them.
The jet aircraft fill all manners of roles, including but not limited to air-to-air dogfighting, strategical bombing and close air support.

The pride of the Sector 7 fleet. An extremely large, but slow ship. All weapons are projectile-based, and the four 360 traversing anti-ship cannons fire 223mm high-explosive shells at a rate of 5 shots a minute. There are also roughly twenty automated defense turrets that fire 60mm anti-small aircraft rounds at roughly 150 shots per minute. The weapons are however not the primary focus on this ship, as it is meant to carry troops and fighter aircraft instead. Anti-planetary weapons are non-existant.



Transports D-3990 "Conquest", "Avenger" and "Devastator".

Much like the flagship, these ships are primarily focused on transport of both troops and fighter aircraft. As such it only has four 170mm high-explosive cannons, firing at 5 shots a minute. They also carry the same automated 60mm turrets, but only ten of them.

Constructed to fill every possible jet and small aircraft role the Sector 7s might have need for, the C-700 "Ram" is an extremely versatile fighting jet with space-flying capabilities. With a 40mm seven-barreled gatling-type cannon firing at 4,000 rounds per minute, up to eight laser-guided air-to-ground or air-to-air 75 kg warheads, up to four cluster-bombs and four Panther rocket-pods, each carrying eight rockets, the Ram is one single house-sized mass of "fuck you" to the enemy.

A heavy-duty airlifting rotorcraft used by the Sector 7s to lift heavy equipment and transport troops to and from the frontline. Has only a single automated 20mm turret on the bottom to protect against ground targets.

The main weapon of the Sector 7 PMC. Known for its extreme power with relatively little recoil thanks to excellent gas expungement. Outfitted with a custom-made holographic sight and dual blue laser emitters, used for easier target identification and acquiring in even dark environments, as well as lasing targets for close air support.



SS-793 Sniper Rifle "Firefly"

The main sniper system of the Sector 7 PMC. Extremely long range and power, but entirely useless at shorter ranges. The scope itself is extremely advanced, with modular zoom ranging from 0x zoom to a maximum of x18 zoom.



SS-983 Support Weapon "Buzz-saw"

Light support weapon carried by each individual squad, in numbers of at the least one. The SS-983 is meant to provide great firepower at short to medium ranges. With its extremely high fire rate and relatively little overheating issues, this weapon can saw any oncoming army in half.



SS-321 Launcher Platform "Bumblebee"

Engine: Solid fuel rocket.
Maximum velocity: SS-321 missiles can reach speeds up to around mach 2.
Effective Range: 75-3000 meters. (Can reach targets at distances of up to 5000 metres with lased target designation)

The sole anti-vehicle launcher of the Sector 7 PMC. This launcher is a marvel of modern engineering, its built-in computer and sights can in conjunction with laser designation hit ground targets roughly 5 kilometres away, and can easily take out most if not all modern armour.
Designed for both anti-air and anti-ground roles, the "Bumblebee" can be used for everything from destroying heavily armoured ground vehicles, clustered enemy ground personnel to anti-air roles.
However both launcher and ammunition is heavy to transport, and as such these are never carried by squads without good cause for it.



SS-160 Sidearm "Javelin"

The standard-issue sidearm of the Sector 7 troops is an extremely reliable and well-crafted handgun, considered by most of the mercenaries to be one of the best sidearms you could ask for.
The special design of the "Javelin" pistol disincludes any form of sights, even excluding iron sights. This is due to the philosophy that if you should have to resort to this weapon, you are in no position to aim your shots.
As such, any and all training with this is often concerned with blind-firing or shooting it "from the hip". This training, as well as the removal of the iron sights, makes the pistol extremely easy to quickly draw out and fire a few shots to stop any oncoming hostiles.



SS-G-837 Smoke Grenade "Onion"

The specially crafted smoke grenade of the S7 PMC is an extremely potent package, and can produce extremely thick smoke-clouds within mere seconds through use of its potent and secret chemical formula. Comes in many different colours to differentiate between hiding smoke and smoke marking specific things, such as need for casualty evacuation or close air support.



SS-G-837 Frag Grenade "Pineapple"

The Sector 7 Private Military Company Sector7frag


A fairly simple fragmentation grenade. A highly explosive mixture causes the grenade to erupt into an explosion a few seconds after throwing, destroying the body of the grenade and sending pieces of shrapnel flying in a wide radius. Has a concussive blast range of roughly 5 meters, and can launch shrapnel up to 40 meters away.
